A similar theme we find with many of our clients is that they love the location of their home, but it isn’t quite what they want or need it to be. Our client in Elizabeth Gardens, Burlington was no different. They were lacking valuable storage space without a garage, had outdated siding, inefficient windows, and an uninviting entry tucked away at the side of the home. A big reno was in order, and not knowing where to start they contacted our team. With our skilled project manager, interior designer and architect in tow, we worked with this client to turn their outdated bungalow into their dream home.
Here’s what we did:
- Removed the outdated chimney.
- Built a garage addition to the side of their home.
- Moved the front entrance from the side of their home to the front while creating a beautiful foyer accented by a stone front porch.
- Replaced their old roof shingles with new BP Mystique Laminate Shingles in 2-Tone Black.
- Installed a brand new steel front door system complete with sidelights in a trendy black from Vinylguard Window & Door Systems.
- Replaced their outdated front and side windows with brand new energy efficient windows, also from Vinylguard.
- Removed all their existing siding, upgraded the insulation, and installed gorgeous new Maibec wood siding in Navy Blue 232.
- Installed new ceramic tile in the newly built foyer, as well as hardwood floor to tie in seamlessly with the existing hardwood.
With this brand new updated look, these homeowners literally had their neighbours knocking on their door.
